Background
Born stray in Tokyo in 2018. At three months, becomes ward of cat shelter with siblings and mother. Joins Pivot after four months in shelter and becomes face of firm. Cautious and sensitive but demanding. Has patch of white fur on tummy that only intimate acquaintances get to see. Street origins are apparent in excellent reflexes and athletic prowess. Avoids human strangers but is talkative in company of Pivot associates.

House-sits while owner is in Kyoto for New Year’s. Later in month makes emergency visit to veterinarian after licking leaves of bush lily. Examination reveals no serious problem for cat, but owner suffers shock.
Hair loss, apparently due to allergy, prompts sweeping change. Owner replaces Science Diet, which had been staple for eight months, with Nutro Natural Choice. Hair loss stops.
Weight declines on account of frequent vomiting and diminished appetite. Ultrasound examination reveals no problem. Veterinarian prescribes digestive medicine and symptoms recede by September.
Undergoes periodic renal examination and blood test. Findings indicate no problems.
While looking out window from second-floor abode makes eye contact with stray cat that frequents front yard, Agnes. Both respond excitedly to encounter.
